What are green lipped mussels?
Green−lipped mussels are a naturally rich source of amino acids, because they contain all the major classes of complex proteins called glycosaminoglycans, in a biologically balanced combination. Glycosaminoglycans are naturally found in our connective tissues and are key structural components of joint cartilage. New Zealand waters have the right condition for mussels’ growth. These mussels are exposed to long hours of sunlight, making them rich in nutrients and enzymes.
